My Fan Rosalin

My Fan Rosalin,
Mastered herself in playing the mandolin.

After a couple o;drinks,
She blinks.

When she sits to dine,
She looks fine.

Sometimes she's wild,
But often she behaves like a child.

Evenings, she gazes at the sky,
And watches the clouds roll by.

She says her mind is so broad,
I know, she's is not at all a fraud.

She is'nt bothered 'bout "The Family Tree ".
That's why she's free.

She leads a jovial life,
Her hubby says "Rosalin is a good wife ".

My Love To'ards Life

My love to'ards life has gone worse,
I know, it's a curse.
I mix my virtues with a little vice,
And still my ego says "I'm so wise.

THE KISS

That thrush .......
Did she, too, see the angels in the waters
That time we kissed ?
And did that blackbird see
The rainbow that in breathless wonder caught us ?
The mist
On snow -white blossom on the winter tree ?
Were there
Jewelled peacocks on the lawns emerald gleaming
And marvels in the grey and sodden sky ?
Ah, was it so, my love, or were we dreaming ?
Did any see these things save you and I ?

The Burning Leaves, November

Burning Leaves, November

THESE are the folios of April,
All the library of spring,
Missals gilt and rubricated
With the frost's illumining.

Ruthless, we destroy these treasures,
Set the torch with hand profane-
Gone, like Alexandrian vellums,
Like the books of burnt Louvain!

Yet these classics are immortal:
O collectors, have no fear,
For the publisher will issue
New editions every year.

Politico's Oration

Politico's oration in the stage,
Flows like a lake.
His notions,I found it difficult gauge,
Now I realize,everything is fake.

The Flowers in My Garden

The Flowers in My Garden

The flowers in my garden
I see them everyday.
As soft as wool
And as sweet as me.
I feel the smoothness
When I touch the petals.
And the smell of its aroma
Around my garden
I really like.
What a lovely sight it is
When the flowers bloom.

My Noble Teacher

My Noble Teacher

My noble teacher,
An outstanding guru
And a pleasant lady,
You are.
You taught me alphabets
And good rhymes.
You improved
My reading
And my writing style.
My noble teacher
You instructed me,
How to play games.
And above all
You taught me
Good manners.
